Low body weight for 10-horses at a Lancaster County animal rescue farm leads to charges against a woman and her son. Officials with the Humane Society say Crystal Davis and Joseph McMillan have been charged with a dozen counts of animal cruelty. They have pled not guilty. A hearing is set for next month. The Lancaster County SPCA seized the animals last month from ‘A Life Saved Is A Life Saved’ equine rescue in Conestoga. The horses have since reached a more normal weight.
