A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Lancaster County over the weekend. Manor Township Police were called to the 100-block of Penn Street in Washington Boro around 8:30pm Saturday. Despite efforts from officers and civilians to resuscitate the rider, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Blue Rock Regional Fire District Facebook page notes the victim as one of their firefighters, 32-year-old Heather Gower. Officers ask that witnesses to the accident step forward.
