A Virginia man is in Lancaster County Prison on half-a-million dollars bail after allegedly assaulting an elderly woman. West Lampeter Township police say 41-year-old Daniel Crews entered the residence on Willow Street Pike through and unlocked window early Monday morning. He forced the 72-year old victim onto the floor and pushed her head repeatedly. Crews faces a number of charges including burglary, aggravated assault, and DUI.
