Now an update on the recount of the Pennsylvania GOP Primary votes for U-S Senate. Thursday, the Commonwealth Court ordered counties to count but segregate ballots that are missing a dated security envelope and report two vote tallies by the deadline next Tuesday. The judge called the lack of the date a ‘minor irregularity’ and not enough to justify discarding an otherwise eligible voter. Celebrity heart surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz leads former hedge fund CEO Dave McCormick by less than 1000-votes. Earlier this week, the U.S. Supreme Court temporarily blocked the counting of the ballots while they give the case further consideration.
