Five months after the January-6th Committee subpoenaed state senator Doug Mastriano, the now Republican nominee for governor says he will testify about his role in helping the Trump campaign challenge the results of the 2020 presidential election. His lawyer says Mastriano was interviewed by FBI agents last year about being outside the Capitol on the day of the insurrection. Mastriano claims he didn’t know about any coordination with then-President Trump about the attack.
