Whether you walk or drive, be careful when you’re out and about. Pennsylvania traffic and pedestrian deaths both increased in 2021. In 2021 there were 186 pedestrian deaths compared to 146 in 2020. Traffic deaths increased by nearly 100 to 1,230 in 2021. Officials encourage everyone to be safe and aware while making their way around.
