York City’s 9th homicide of the year was confirmed by an autopsy over the weekend. The Coroner’s Office says 24-year-old Roman Padilla of West York was found shot several times in a vehicle that had crashed along the 800-block of South Pine Street Friday just after 12:30pm. Police say Padilla was taken to WellSpan York Hospital where he later succumbed to his wounds. Anyone with more info about what happened can text an anonymous message to YORKTIPS at 847-411. Meanwhile, Lancaster Online reports that a teenager has been charged as an adult after a shooting in Lancaster city last month. Police have charged 16-year-old Jeffrey Moreau with numerous crimes including felony aggravated assault. A 15-year-old victim from Lancaster Township was wounded along the 400-block of South Queen Street back on April-26th. Moreau remains at-large.
