Now an update to Monday night’s shooting in York City. The Coroner’s Office says contrary to media reports including our own, they did not respond to that scene or to any victim. Police say one person was hit by gunfire along the 500-block of Walnut Street just before 7:30 p.m. Officers say the victim was taken to a hospital where he is recovering from a “life-threatening gunshot wound.” No word on any suspect.
