A man from Lehigh County is accused of traveling to Lancaster County to meet up with a 13-year old girl for a sexual encounter. The U.S. Marshals Eastern PA Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force is searching for Michael Bascom of Slatington. He drove to East Lampeter Township on June 3rd. When law enforcement tried to arrest him, he hit a police car with his vehicle and drove off. Bascom drives a blue 2021 Mazda 3 with PA plate HHS-0067. As of yesterday it was believed he was headed towards Hagerstown, MD. Bascom faces multiple felony charges including criminally attempted statutory sexual assault.
