Yorker Arrested In Bike Assault

A York man faces numerous charges after allegedly beating a man with his own bicycle. Police say 28-year old Jordan Davis had been released from Central Booking for an unrelated arrest less than an hour before the attack late on the night of May-11 along the 300-block of East Market Street. Surveillance video showed Davis knocking a man off his bike and then using the bicycle to beat and seriously injure the victim for nearly 2-minutes. Davis is back in the York County Prison but this time without bail. He is charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault along with other offenses.
