DNA evidence has been used to arrest a Lancaster County man who is accused of sexually assaulting an unconscious girl more than 2-years ago. State Police say 24-year-old Darnell Lathon of Mountville claimed he had no sexual contact with an underage girl following a party back in November of 2019. Troopers say DNA collected from a bed at the victim’s Conestoga Township home matches a sample from Lathon. The suspect faces multiple crimes including two counts of aggravated indecent assault. Meanwhile, Lancaster Online reports that Lathon is currently awaiting trial in York County for several other crimes including felony criminal trespass and driving under the influence. Lathon remains in the Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
