Avian Flu Detected In 6th Lancaster Co. Farm

The highly contagious avian flu continues to spread in Lancaster County. The USDA reports the disease has hit a 6th farm. Officials say about 18-thousand birds were destroyed at the commercial broiler breeder. So far all of the cases of avian flu found in Pennsylvania have been in Lancaster County. Meanwhile in Colorado, a rare case of a human getting avian flu. Officials say a person involved in killing infected chickens there, tested positive for the virus but has since recovered.
