Miss Pennsylvania USA was crowned over the weekend. Carlisle native Bille LaRae Owens will represent the Commonwealth in the Miss USA pagent. Her father, Billy Owens, is well known in the Carlisle area as a basketball standout who spent 10-years in the NBA playing for a number of teams including the 76ers.
