Multiple traffic accidents along Route-283 have been reported over the last few days. On Saturday, there were two accidents, one of them fatal and another involving several vehicles. Then on Monday, 283 eastbound had to be shut down in Lancaster County after a chain-reaction crash involving 7-vehicles, including 2-tractor trailers. It happened east of Spooky Nook Road just before 11am. At least 2-drivers were hurt. Police continue to investigate.
