U.S.Marshals have arrested a woman who nearly struck police officers in York while fleeing in her vehicle. On January 25th, 28-year old Kimberly Ann Edwards was pulled over for a traffic stop near Farquhar Park. When officers approached her vehicle, she shifted in reverse, nearly hitting them, then she sped off and struck another vehicle near Roosevelt and Pennsylvania Avenues before escaping. Edwards was found last week at a hotel in Carlisle and was arrested without incident. She was also wanted for parole violations and other traffic violations.
