Flames whipped by strong winds destroyed a York County home on Tuesday. 9-1-1 dispatchers say it happened at around 11am along Sinclair Road in Lower Chanceford Township. Officials aren’t sure exactly how the fire started but their suspicions center on a stove in the basement. No one was injured. Meanwhile at around the same time in Lancaster County, windy conditions expanded a fire at the Boose Aluminum Foundry on North Reamstown Road in East Cocalico Township. Officials say the company sustained damage to several parts of the facility, but no one was hurt. A State Police Fire Marshal is investigating the cause there.
