Pennsylvania’s commonwealth flag has been lowered on all state facilities in honor of a firefighter who died in the line of duty. Governor Tom Wolf ordered the flags lowering following the death of Hope Fire Company Fire Chief Isaac David Hassen of northern Cambria on Friday. Hassen became a member of that department in 1969 and was an officer with the group for the last 48-years.
