A candlelight remembrance for Louis Appell Jr. will be held Friday night in York City during First Friday. Downtown Inc invites residents to join them on Continental Square at 8:30PM to mark the passing of the York County businessman and philanthropist. Appell died on monday at the age of 92. His obituary notes that a private service will be held this weekend.
