A Lancaster County man has been indicted for trying to kill his ex-wife in Ohio. Police have charged 60-year old Edward Hopes of West Hempfield Township with shooting his wife 5-times just outside of Cincinnati back on June-14th. Hopes fled to Kentucky where he was taken into custody. Officials say Kristi Lynn Stem was wounded in the cheek, jaw, hip, shoulder, arm and buttocks. Despite the number of injuries, Officials say they were not life-threatening. Hopes is being in an ohio jail in lieu of $1-million dollars bail.
